The Forming of Karst, is a short research that was conducted to study the forming of karst landscape. Basically, water permeates into the stone, absorbing carbonate when it’s denser in the stone and releases carbonate when it’s not, thus forming theform of karst. This process is scripted in “processing” by simulating water agent based on emergence theory.
The simulation is subsequently applied and modeled in rhino, which can successfully form the shape of karst. Besides, we made a physical model trying to demonstrate the comparison between void and solid that referring tothe space of kasrt cave, which uses twisting of glass sheet to achieve.
